McMonigal Architects is committed to working with organizations to educate people about architecture and design.

Organizations include the Girl Scouts, Exploring/Boy Scouts, Project Link, St. Paul Public Schools, NE Housing Fair, Firefighters Museum, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Citywide Advisory Committee on Home Improvement Education, Habitat for Humanity, Choices Career Conference, Net-Tie Inc., Hollywood Theatre Preservation, Menttium 100, Public Art St. Paul, Ralph Rapson Video Project, Minneapolis Building Code Board of Appeal, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Home Tour.

Within the profession, McMonigal Architects is active with the American Institute of Architects, the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota, Builders Association, Women in Construction, and DIFFA.
For the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board, Rosemary is architectural advisor to the Board, and was architect juror for the national competition Minnesota Korean War Veterans Memorial, and World War II Memorial.

For Habitat for Humanity, McMonigal Architects designed a prefabricated house built at the Minnesota State Fair and moved to the Frogtown Neighborhood in St. Paul. At the Jimmy Carter Build Houston, Rosemary was on a team that built one of 100 houses completed in a week. For Habitat, Project for Pride in Living, and Honeywell, Rosemary worked on the new construction of a duplex in Minneapolis, and for Habitat, the new construction of a single family house.
