This 20,000-square-foot facility provides activity space for children and adults of the Laotian and Hmong community in St. Paul. The center includes a variety of programs: Headstart, child care, Early Childhood Family Education, English as a Second Language, adult education, social work, food shelf, clinic, Boys and Girls Club, computer lab, and management offices. An outdoor plaza flows out of the main meeting room to provide additional gathering space. Site work includes landscaping, parking, utility relocation and playground design. The project is part of the master plan for community housing adjacent to the site.
