The location is wonderful for walks within Wayzata and the central green space at the neighborhood.  The townhome checked off the desired spaces.  With goals of modernizing while maintaining the integrity of the windows and structure, McMonigal Architects improved the layout and overall aesthetic.  The kitchen was reorganized and expanded into an informal dining area.  The living and dining now have a quiet elegance with new fireplace, cabinetry, and stair railings that are compatible with antique furnishings and art.  Bedrooms, baths, den, and family all benefit from changes to cabinets, counters, paint, and lighting.  The white oak flooring with custom stain create cohesion by flowing through the main floor.
